Le Roi Soleil ReviewThis musical is simply fantastic. When I first got the CD I thought, "well, it's nice", but with every listening, it grew more and more on me. Now I absolutely LOVE this musical and I never take the CD out of my CD player anymore! There is not one song on this CD I don't like.The songs on this CD range from mellow to pop-like (at times combined with baroque-like music), and there surely is something for everyone. What struck me about this musical is that there is not really an ensemble, but the whole CD is made up of songs from the cast, which consists of seven people.
The CD was definitely worth my money and I can only recommend it.
I have a lot of other French musicals that are worthy of being checked out, like "Romeo & Juliette", "Autant En Emporte Le Vent", "Notre Dame de Paris", "Graal", and "Les Enfants de Soleil", just to name a few. "Le Roi Soleil" is definitely one of my favorites.Le Roi Soleil Overview
