The Three Pickers (2003) ReviewI love concert DVDs, anyway, although they often leave me wishing I had been there. This one certainly does that, in spades. It has it all--first--the greatest pickers; second, great video and audio recording quality, and last, an appreciative and knowledgeable audience. Earl Scruggs finger picking the guitar on "Who Will Sing For Me" is not to be missed. Reminds me of those old black and white Flatt and Scruggs TV shows back in the early 60's I used to watch on Sunday night, when Earl would put down his banjo and accompany the group on their "sacred number" as Lester put it. If you want to hear more of him doing that, also buy the Flatt & Scruggs CD "The Complete Mercury Sessions". Great Stuff. The Three Pickers (2003) OverviewFor one memorable evening before a live audience, Earl Scruggs, Doc Watson and Ricky Skaggs joined forces as The Three Pickers. The music they made is as relaxed as a front porch picking session, highlighted by the skill of these three bluegrass masters.Includes: ?Earl?s Breakdown,? ?Walk on Boy,? ?Road to Spencer,? ?Pick Along,? ?Feast Here Tonight,? ?What Would You Give in Exchange For Your Soul?? ?Don?t Let Your Deal Go Down,? ?Who Will Sing for Me?? ?Soldier?s Joy,? ?What Is a Home Without Love??**, ?The Storms Are on the Ocean,? ?Down in the Valley to Pray,? ?The Banks of the Ohio,? ?John Hardy?**, ?Katy Hill,? ?Foggy Mountain Top,? ?Roll in My Sweet Baby?s Arms?** DVD-only bonus tracks
