Sesame Street - Let's Make Music (1969) ReviewHurray for Sesame Street! They've made yet another video that appeals to all ages. Like many toddlers, the children in our household tend to watch the same video over and over and over again. They seem to thrive on repetition which is wonderful for their learning and growing (albeit sometimes a little irritating for the "older" family members). By including the rythmic geniuses of the Stomp! crew, they've managed to capture the attention and creativity of the toddlers and entertain the rest of the family as well.
Their use of simple, everyday objects as musical instruments was particularly appealing, especially in these days of heavy commercialism. We also enjoyed the dancing and the familiar Sesame Street characters. This video invites participation so there's no need to worry about the "couch potato effect."
