What a Man Wants - What a Woman Needs (2006) ReviewNormally, I like to go against the grain of things and critique movies for myself. And sometimes, I find critics to be wrong. In this case, I should kick myself two times in the behind for wasting my money on this, and not taking the advice of the other critics. This is really bad. I can't believe that this was released. Was it even edited. I think that this movie is an insult to the entire Black playwrighting experience. Great movie title. POOR MOVIE.What a Man Wants - What a Woman Needs (2006) Overview

David E. Talbert's The Fabric of a Man ReviewThe Fabric of a Man is one of David Talbert's best musical stage plays. It's the story of Dominique (Tammy Townsend - Family Matters, she played Eddie's girlfriend Greta), an up and coming fashion designer who thinks she is in love with Blair Godfrey (Clifton Powell), a self-centered stockbroker who wishes she'd focus less on her career and more on him. Her father is a minister and she has stopped going to church to concentrate on her career and boyfriend. Even though everyone tells her he is no good for her, she makes excuses for his behavior.
Dominique's employee (Buddy Lewis)forgot to take the dry cleaning to the cleaners and her regular cleaners is closed, she accidentally stumbles into an old-school dry cleaner, where she meets Joshua King (Darren DeWitt Henson - Soul Food), who has similar career goals. Joshua is a devout christian who doesn't make a move without God, their first date was dinner and church.
Dominique can't make up her mind about who's better for her, Blair who represents finance or Joshua who will give her the best of both worlds; love and a chance to explore her career goals. Peter Pan: Original Broadway Cast Recording (1954 New York Cast) ReviewAs I played 1st trumpet in the Broadway production of PETER PAN as well as for this original cast recording, I hope the show is appreciated for the melodies and the story line. During the run of the show on Broadway, I was always amazed how the children would cheer and support Tinker Bell especially when Mary (Peter) would ask the children if they believe in Tinker Bell. They would shout yes and applaud. The show captured their imagination and of course Mary Martin and Cyril Richard were unbeatable as Peter Pan and Captain Hook.
