Hood 2 Hood: The Blockumentary (2008) ReviewThis is a really interesting concept and premise, and yet some of this documentary's potential is squandered due to unimaginitive questions. The narrator asks the same questions to the citizens of each neighborhood. I thought it would be a lot more interesting to hear region specific questions. Also, the music selection is lacking; they could've done region-specific music as well. The participants are generally captivating, and when someone isn't, the scene is relatively short. Still, a very informative look into areas of our 'great' American cities which 70% of our population would never think of setting foot in. I also liked hearing the different dialects of each region. For example, in Chicago, instead of saying "Whassup, mayne", they say "Whattup, Charlie".
